WAITING
Anticipating something, whatever it may be, can be a very challenging aspect of daily life.
The act of waiting is a very simple act of letting time go. Some folks decide to go and do something else, whether good or bad.
Some could lose their temper.
Some could be bored.
Some simply accept their predicament.
After all, time will pass, regardless of what we choose to do with it. It’s in our hands to explore the possibilities of time passing.
I choose to be present in the passing time, embracing the silence, the awkwardness, and the discomfort of it.
The creep of time can be the long winding road of nothingness, while on the other hand, it can be the thrill of a lifetime.
This series explores our never-ending quest of waiting from point A to B.
This concept of time is a sign of growth and decay that we will never be able to experience in one sitting over a cup of coffee.
It’s a road that we keep constructing every single day—something that we can look back on but never be able to return to.
It’s the one-way highway that will lead us to the exit ramp, where we either feel excited to be there or keep asking, “Are we there yet?”
