This is a love letter to my industry and my craft, a reflection and musing over some miniscule aspect of the bigger picture

It’s always be a two side of a coin, a double edged blade, a dual perspective. it’s never be a string of facts, an open ended discussion or an acceptable norm. it’s a hard cold fact that must be accepted and follow. It’s being labelled as a society.

What is the ideal society?

We could be the one of many faces of the uniform, we could bend to the society, but in the history of humankind, there always an individuality that can’t be erase, a bump in an even pavement. It can be a sign of adaptability, and inclusivity to other part of the society. But most of the time, it was nothing but a case of nothingness from one end of society to another end of its spectrum.

A hollow olive branch carry nothing but wind

Every era has its own pastime, which always be frowned upon by previous era, an endless cycle of self righteous predecessor and unbothered current crop of young folks. It’s without doubt that there are always the thorns on these two different groups, but in my viewfinder, these kids are having their own social activity that is pretty much a carbon copy of what the previous generation did with their arisan and ronda. They occupied the same space, more or less the same number of individuals, the same amount of time being spent communally. And this is how society creates a point where mankind gathers in one common goals

Time altered point of view

What is progress? What is preservation? What is the balance between moving forward and staying where you are?What is the fine line that we shall not cross between necessary evil and wasteful progress? It’s something most professionals in this industry prefer not to answer. For the sake of a new project, we will gladly bulldoze, tilt and move anything in front of our sight.

Feeling lost in a space

Finally what should we do as part of the industry to alter the society we are living in and will be leaving when our time has come? How can we be accountable for our present action for society in the future? I’ll say common consciousness on decision making will shape our better future.
